#GoAir Cancels 20 Plus Flights across different Destinations this Christmas Season

26 Dec 2019: #GoAir the budget airline suspended a portion of its services as it cancelled around 20 plus flights through different destinations within last three days leaving a large number of travelers stranded.
As per GoAir they had Cancelled the flights due to non-availability of some of the aircraft and lack of operational team. The organization however, reasoned the non-operations of these flights were due to protests against #CitizenshipAmendmentAct (#CAA), unfriendly climate and the obligation standards for the cockpit team, among others.
The low-cost carrier operates more than 200 flights every day to domestic and international destinations with a fleet of 57 aircraft and pilots," Its also known that Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Patna and Lucknow, are the other major cities from where flight may have been cancelled. GoAir has announced also reported a series of mid-air episodes of motor glitches, leading to the grounding of planes with such engines. On Monday, the airline had to ground an A320 plane, which needed to land in Guwahati soon after leaving for Kolkata following the pilot recognizing a "minor" technical issue. On Sunday additionally, GoAir's Chandigarh departure from Mumbai was redirected back to the city because of a technical snag. In this episode likewise, the carrier needed to remove the aircraft out of operation for maintenance and send another plane to fly the stranded travelers to their destinations.
